Custom Order Process

If you don’t totally love an invitation while browsing through our many sample albums, we also offer customized options where you get to pick every detail of your perfect invitation. From the cardstock, to the embellishments, the wording, the format, ink color, fonts, envelopes, liners, and design. We love putting together the invitation of your dreams!

Step 1:

We first begin the custom design process by asking you when your event is and how many invites you will need. We like to give friendly reminders to our clients that number of guests does not equal number of invites. Families and couples often don’t require one invitation per person.

Step 2:

The next step will be to ask you whether you have seen any examples of invitations that you have liked. We want to get an idea of the kind of style and look that you are going for. Whether you have seen some on Pinterest or while browsing through our catalogs, we welcome any and all inspiration for your dream invites.

If you are coming in with no idea what you like or want, that is perfectly OK! We will walk you through all the possibilities and try to brainstorm together to find a design that speaks to you. We will ask you questions such as where your venue is, what season your event is, whether your ceremony and reception are indoors or outdoors, the color scheme of your party, how formal or informal you want to be and any other questions that will help give us some guidance to better suit your needs.

If you are already coming in with a specific invitation that you would like to replicate, GREAT! You’re already half way there!

Step 3:

Once we have decided on the design of the invite, we can now proceed to choose the cardstock. We work with a wonderful brand that carries tons of cardstock choices. We offer many matte colors, metallic colors, glitter, cotton, craft, and even cardstock with beautiful patterns. We will show you several options from simple to fancy.

Step 4:

We then choose any and all other elements for your perfect wedding suite. These can include your invitation backing, envelopes, liners, pockets, embellishments, tags, and seals.

Step 5:

We will then go ahead and place your order for the materials

Step 6:

While your order is in the process of being placed and shipped, we will work on the design of your invitation suite. Please allow 2-3 business days for us to design and we will send you the proofs for you to review.

Step 7:

We will work together to edit the proofs until you are completely satisfied with them

Step 8:

Once we have your approval on the final design, we go to print and production!

Step 9:

We contact you as soon as your beautiful pieces are done and ready to be in your hands!
